Welcome to Refinery Dance, where passion meets precision and artistry comes alive. Founded by Gemma Jordan with a vision to create a nurturing space for Bachata dancers of all levels, we've built a community that celebrates the transformative power of movement and connection.

Our instructors bring years of professional training, competitive and performance experience, dedicated to helping each student discover their unique voice through dance. We are committed to ensuring our students are taught the most up-to-date techniques by continuing our own learning with the industries leading instructors.

Gemma is the only bachata dancer in Perth to have completed 2 International Bachata Instructor Certifications and won a National Competition (Level Up, '24) and an International Pro Competition (ConRi Sensual Aura, India '25). Most recently also making it to the Top 10 in Oceania's Bachata World Cup Qualifiers (Level Up, '25).
